GF3000 Shear Lock
GF3000’s unique mounting features provide a “floating” action of both the lock as-
sembly and the armature which allows the magnet assembly to move towards the
armature during the locking process. In this manner, the GF3000 is able to overcome
gaps of up to 1/4 inch without voltage or current inrush. Once engaged, it provides
3,000 pounds holding force. A microprocessor-based control module provides ad-
vanced electronic features. This circuitry automatically senses and adjusts input volt-
age, allowing for operation from 12 to 24 VDC power sources.

M490G Gate Lock
The M490G is a high security, weather resistant electromagnetic lock with 1500 lbs.
of holding force. It is designed for use on all types of sliding and swinging gates. A
modified top jamb mounting bracket allows a single M490G to be mounted in a va-
riety of positions and may be mounted to any gate frame or post. Lock must be
mounted so that the armature pulls straight back from the magnet face. Field se-
lectable, 12 or 24VDC.

The 320M mortise mounted system is designed to interface with electronic access

provide egress upon detectable emergency. With no moving parts and a fail safe

M490DE Delayed Egress Magnetic Locks
The M490DE Delayed Egress Locking System is a self contained unit, designed to
meet NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and BOCA, while providing ongoing access con-
trolled security. This easy to install, cost effective solution provides the highest ac-
cess security and safety. The M490DE delayed egress is triggered by an internal
“plunger switch,” to initiate a 15 or 30 second delay and audible alarm before un-
locking and can be triggered by external contacts such as an electrified exit bar or
a Request to Exit device. AVS, automatic voltage sensing, for 12 and 24 volts along
with polarity protection to make wiring less complex is standard on M490DE.

M400 Series Overview
The M400 Series line of electromagnetic locks from Schlage are designed with the
customer in mind to be robust, easy to install, and secure. The new bayonet mount-
ing feature makes installs easier, allowing the installer to have their hands free dur-
ing the mounting process. M400 Series are both non-handed and symmetrical,
allowing optimum placement of the magnet no matter the application. The M400
provides basic security, while the M400P provides intelligent sensing and reporting
features needed to integrate with access control systems. Kits are available for top
jam, double door, and glass door applications. All have AVS, automatic voltage sens-
ing, for 12 and 24 volts along with polarity protection to make wiring less complex.
