Rixson Pivots
Bottom Pivots: 117 bottom pivot mortised into floor. For interior doors up to 300
lbs. and up to 4’ x 8’. 147 bottom pivot mounts directly to floor. For interior or exte-
rior doors up to 600 lbs. Interior sizes up to 4’0” x 8’6” and exterior sizes up to 3’6” x
7’0”. 3/4” offset. 195 bottom pivot mortised into side jamb. For interior or exterior
doors up to 450 pounds and sizes up to 4’ x 8’. 370 bottom pivot mounts directly to
floor. For interior doors up to 500 pounds and sizes up to 4’0” x 8’6”.
Top Pivots: 180 top full mortise handed pivot. Standard for most 1-1/2” offset pivot
sets and floor closers. 3/4” offset. 340 top pivot for center hung doors. 380 half
mortised handed pivot. For optional use where jamb portion cannot be mortised.
3/4” offset.
Intermediate Pivots: M19 full mortise handed intermediate pivot. Used to main-
tain door alignment. They are offset hung and cannot be used on center hung doors.
3/4” offset. M190 heavy duty, full mortise handed intermediate pivot. Used when
frame condition does not allow standard top pivot. 3/4” offset.

Rixson Electromagnetic Door Releases
Tri-voltage, wall mounted electromagnets are designed for virtually any remote door
release application. They are primarily used to hold fire and smoke barrier doors
open until released by a remote smoke detector or other switching device.

27 Series Offset Hung Floor Closers
Single acting and handed. 3/4” offset floor closers locate the pivot point 3/4” from
the heel edge of the door and 3/4” from the face of the door. Door edges must be
beveled 1/8” in 2”. Frame doorstop must be provided at door closed position. For
use on interior or exterior doors up to 450 pounds and sizes up to 4’0” x 8’6”.
