V40 Series Alarmed Rim Exit Devices

V40 Series for fast, easy, trouble-free installation. These devices have a rugged,

durable design with a stainless steel self-latching bolt and angled end cap to deflect

damage. The tamper-resistant housing protects electronics, battery and internal

hardware and prevents manipulation. The tamper-resistant security switching elec-

tronically monitors the latch bolt. They have a 100+ Decibel alarm with adjustable

re-arming feature for variable time re-arm and visual and audible arming indicators.

5-30 second adjustable time delay allows sufficient time to exit. Other features in-

clude a low-battery alert, a delayed arming feature for arming after door closes and

red flashing LED alert when not armed. Standard finish is 628 aluminum baseplate,

red push pad with white lettering and black cover, filler plate and end cap.

V40xEB is powered by a 9-volt battery.

V40xEBxW is powered by a 9-volt battery and is weather resistant.

V40xEH is powered by standard 12-volt AC power and has a 9-volt battery backup.

V40xEHxR is the same as the V40xEH but includes a remote signalling function.

V40xEI is powered by standard 12-volt AC power, has a 9-volt battery backup and

includes electronic integration.

V40xES is powered by standard 12-volt AC power, has a 9-volt battery backup and

includes electric switching.

ECL-230 Series Exit Control Locks

Easy to install, rugged, and economical; the ECL-230 series has been the industry stan-

dard alarmed exit control lock for more than 30 years. The ECL-230 die-cast aluminum

alloy housing has Corvel Detex Silverado finish. Lock case is 10-3/8” high x 5-3/4”

wide x 3-3/4" deep. Use standard 9V battery. ECL-230D is a single point locking de-

vice that prevents unauthorized entrance from the outside while allowing emergency

egress. It provides inside and outside key control bypass of the alarm. In the event

of unauthorized egress, a high decibel alarm sounds that can only be deactivated by

a special control key. ECL-230D-PH has a longer bar and paddle and can accommo-

date doors 36" to 48" wide.

ECL-600 Exit Control Lock

The fire rated ECL

-600 exit control lock is designed to have the deadbolt and dead-

locking latch-bolt retract simultaneously when the paddle bar is pushed to exit. A

high-decibel piezo horn sounds to warn personnel that an unauthorized exit is oc-

curring. Use of an authorized key in the inside cylinder or in the optional outside

lever trim retracts the bolt and shunts the alarm. The ECL-600 may be operated as a

"Passage" function by both the inside paddle and the outside lever, if so equipped.

V40xEE Delayed Egress Rim Exit Device

The V40xEE, designed for primary and secondary exits, provides a secure 15-second

delay and a 100dB alarm when someone attempts to exit. This 15-second delay al-

lows management time to respond before someone exits and the alarm deters the

exit from occurring. Per life safety requirements, the V40xEE must be provided with

a fire alarm input, thus providing a system override during a fire emergency. The

V40xEE provides security while meeting all life safety concerns, offering an excep-

tional value. Includes delayed egress panic bar, 24VDC filtered and regulated power

supply, door sign and 3’ conduit loop. Stainless steel, 3/4" deadlocking Pullman-type

latch bolt. Non-handed, field sizeable. Accommodates all types of mortise cylinders

with a standard Yale cam. Patented mounting plate and strike locator system provide

perfect alignment with door and frame

EAX-500 Battery Powered Door Alarm is designed for applications that require

an alarmed exit device on secured doors. The alarm, with approximately 100dB, will

sound when someone attempts an unauthorized exit. EAX-2500 AC-Powered

Door Alarm is designed for applications that require a 9VDC battery or external

AC/DC powered alarmed exit device on secured doors. The alarm, with approxi-

mately 100dB, will sound when someone attempts an unauthorized exit. It's smaller

size and designed to fit in a standard 4"x4" outlet box makes it the choice for quick

and easy installations on emergency exit or restricted doors.
