UB2A connectors have a pre-crimp
feature that gives the crasperson a time-saving edge. By positioning the
connector on the conductor and pre-crimping, the conductor is prevented
from slipping out of the connector before the crimp is completed. e UB2
connector permits tapping directly onto an existing conductor without in-
terrupting service. In ready access closures, the connector eliminates cut-
ting cable pairs, opening pairs, and piercing out wires.
