Connecting to RUPTB
Mounting Base
This procedure explains how to connect the
housing and eyeball assembly to a RUPTB base.
CAUTION: The maximum length of cable allowed
between the Class 2 LPS (low voltage) ac source,
such as a J-box, and the dome is 250m (820').

WARNING!
Ensure that ac power and electrical
signals are off during wire connections!
1. Set dome address (Figure 10).
Recessed at top of housing and eyeball
assembly are three rotary address switches.
Address range is from 001 to 255, except for
Manchester, which is 01 to 64.
Set switches from most significant bit (MSB)
to least significant bit (LSB). For example:
For address 166, set SW3 to 1, SW2 to 6,
and SW1 to 6.

2. Attach safety lanyard to cap on housing
and eyeball assembly (Figure 11). Use M3 x 6
screw supplied with lanyard.
