This chapter explains the keyboard commands for programming the com-
munications functions of the 400. This includes programming, interrogat-
ing and/or resetting of:
Date and Time
Voice Messages
ID Number
Alarm Dial-out Telephone Numbers
Special Dialing Options
Dial-out Test Mode
Tone or Pulse Dialing
Rings Until Answer
Call Delay Time
Intercall Time
Call Progress

DATE AND TIME
The 1800 has an internal clock/calendar that is used to time-stamp events
and maintain alarm history. To program the date and time:
1. Press SET, followed by the DATE/TIME key.

2. The unit will say “Enter the date.” Enter the date in month/day/year
(mm/dd/yy) format using two digits for each. For example, if the date
was January 7, 2005 you would enter 010705, then press ENTER.
