Preattenuation / tone control
Switch L for preattenuation
If the output level of the MKH 800 is
too high for the following mixing
console, it can be reduced in two steps:
- 6 dB
or
- 12 dB
Switch H for treble emphasis
The treble emphasis can be adjusted in
two steps. For 8 kHz the increase
amounts to:
+ 3 dB
or
+ 6 dB
Switch B for bass attenuation
The bass response can be attenuated
in two steps. For 50 Hz the attenua-
tion amounts to:
- 3 dB
or
- 6 dB
