Notes on the correct use of the headsets!
Warning! This headset can cause the aircraft communication
equipment (ie: intercom and radios) to function differently than
intended if the latter does not support the operation of the
headset. This warning applies for the following models:

The above models obtain their operating DC supply voltage via the
tip (pin 1) of the microphone plug (PJ 068 or equivalent). The
communication equipment must provide the DC supply at this
contact in order to activate the NoiseGard™ function of the
headset. However, some aircraft communication systems use this
contact for the PTT (push to transmit), or other, function. For this
reason, inserting the microphone plug can cause the PTT function
to be partly or completely triggered unintentionally.
If you have any questions in this connection, please contact the
aircraft manufacturer or an approved avionics service company.
