They have adjustable padded
headbands and sturdy,ultra-flexi-
ble strain-relief cables made of
OFC litz wire, with convenient one-side exit. Circumaural earpieces
provide maximum isolation,and can be rotated 180° to permit
one-ear monitoring. The ATH-D40
FS features an enhanced bot-
tom-end response (from about 20Hz to 500Hz), making it ideal for
use with predominantly low-frequency sound sources such as bass
instruments and drums. The ATH-M40
FS is designed specifically
for professional monitoring/mixing, with a flat, extended low-fre-
quency response to 5Hz that ensures accurate sound reproduction.
