3.2 Description of equipment

The EM CPD030 as shipped consists of the following equipment:

x Housing of the unit with built-in specimen pressure chamber

x Cooling unit for cooling of the specimen chamber

x Continuously controlled heater for warming up the specimen chamber

x Temperature sensor with digital temperature display

x Magnetic valves for media inlet as well as for the media and gas outlet

x Manually operated gas dosing valve for controlled gas outlet,

x Non-return valve in the media inlet line

x Pressure gauge for the pressure indication in the specimen chamber

x Safety burst membrane

x Magnetic stirring system

x Operating and display panel

x Electrical part for the supply and control of the cooling unit, the specimen

chamber heater, the temperature measuring device, the magnetic stirrer

system.

Set of accessories which include:

1 Connecting hose for C02 pressure bottle

2 Power cable with connector plug

3 Aperture disk

4 Magnetic stirrer rod

5 Lamp extractor

6 Porous filter

7 O-ring for screw-on cover of specimen chamber
