The ADN D1 digital delegate unit of the Sennheiser Audio Distribution Network offers high speech-intelligibility in a mod-

ern design. The goose-neck microphone is equipped with a super-cardioid capsule that attenuates unwanted ambient

noise efﬁciently. A twin-loudspeaker system guarantees a homogenous sound level in the meeting room. The cabling of

the units, which is done by CAT5 cables and hidden connections can be optionally secured with strain reliefs for ﬁxed

installations.

ARCHITECT‘S SPECIFICATION

A digital desktop discussion microphone unit is provided for use as a delegate version for use with a central control unit.

The digital desktop discussion microphone unit connects to the central control unit via network using industry standard

Category 5 (24 AWG) cabling. The unit shall include a 15.47" long gooseneck microphone with a super-cardioid capsule.

A 3.5 mm headphone output jack shall be included. Twin loudspeakers are provided in a top-mounted orientation. RJ45

jacks for connection are provided by hidden connections beneath the unit; optional strain reliefs are provided for ﬁxed in-

stallations. The audio signal path shall include a digital signal processor limiter. Operating voltage shall be 35 to 52.8 V⎓.

Maximum power consumption shall be 3.8 W. Total harmonic distortion shall be a maximum of 0.03% at 50 mW/16 Ω.

Operating temperature shall be +10 °C to +40 °C (+50 °F to +104 °F). The unit dimensions shall be, without gooseneck

microphone, 185 x 63 x 140 mm (7.28" x 2.48" x 5.51"). Weight shall be approximately 700 g (1.5 lbs).

The digital desktop delegate discussion unit shall be manufactured by Sennheiser and shall be type ADN D1.
