following:
Instant Messaging (Chat)
You can use the Instant Messaging (Chat) feature on
your phone to send instant messages using a similar
chat environment as instant messaging on your
desktop computer. Features include:
Sending and receiving instant messages.
Seeing the status of others in your Instant
Messaging contacts list.
Inviting other people to a chat conversation.
Blocking contacts from seeing your status or
sending you messages.
z Note: Before you can begin sending and
receiving instant messages, you must have set
up data connections which allow you to connect
to the Internet. The fastest and easiest way to
configure your phone is to visit http://
www.sendo.com/config to autoconfigure your
settings. The Sendo Easy Configurator sends an
SMS message to your phone containing the
settings you require. Alternatively, you can ask
your service provider to send you this
information (if available).
Getting started with Instant Messaging
z Note: To use Instant Messaging, you need an
Instant Messaging account. Also, you will need
to define an Instant Messaging server (see
Instant Messaging Settings on Page 80). Contact
your service provider for information on Instant
Messaging accounts and settings.
