must say the name exactly as it appears in your
Contacts list.
4. If you have more than one number stored for the
contact, you will be prompted to say the number
(home, work, etc.) that you wish to call.
z Note: If a name is not fully understood or there
are several close matches, you will be prompted
to select from a list of possibilities. Simply use
the joypad keys to scroll to your selection and
press Select  or confirm your choice by saying
“Yes” or “No” when prompted.
5. If all commands and names have been
recognised, the contact number will be dialled.
z Warning: Do NOT rely on voice dialling for
dialling emergency numbers. In emergencies,
stress can cause changes in your voice, which
may result in the phone not recognising the
command.
! To call a contact using speed dialling
See Speed dial on Page 53 to find out how to set up
a speed dial for a phone number.
1. Enter the speed dial number that you have
assigned to the phone number, using the
numeric keypad.
2. Press Call f to make the call.
Creating Contact groups
You can create as many contact groups as you like.
A contact group can act as a distribution list, making
it quicker to send Emails and text messages to
multiple recipients.
! To open t h e Groups li s t
• From the Contacts directory, press the right ]
joypad key to open the Groups list.
! To create a contact group
1. Open the Groups list, as described above.
2. Press Options g and select New group.
3. Enter the name of the group when prompted
using the numeric keypad, or leave the default
name Group.
4. Press OK g. The group name will now appear
in the Groups list.
! To add a new member to a contact group
1. Open the Contacts directory.
2. Use the joypad to scroll to the contact to be
added to your group.
3. Press Options g and select Add to group.
4. A list of all your existing groups is displayed. Use
the joypad to scroll to the group that the contact
is to be added to, and press Select .
! To add multiple members to a contact group
1. Open the Groups list.
2. Scroll to the group you want to add contacts to,
and open it by pressing Select .
3. Press Options g and select Add members.
