Phone Calls
4. If you have more than one number stored for the
contact, you will be prompted to say the number
(home, work, etc.) that you wish to call.
z Note: If a name is not fully understood or there
are several close matches, you will be prompted
to select from a list of possibilities. Simply use
the joypad keys to scroll to your selection and
press Select or confirm your choice by saying
Yes” or “No” when prompted.
5. If all commands and names have been
recognised, the contact number will be dialled.

To make a call using voice contacts
1. Press and hold the Voice key t.
2. When prompted, say the command “Contacts
clearly into the microphone.
3. When prompted, say the name of the contact
you wish to display, clearly into the microphone.
You must say the name exactly as it appears in
your Contacts list.
z Note: If a name is not fully understood or there
are several close matches, you will be prompted
to select from a list of possibilities. Simply use
the joypad keys to scroll to your selection and
press Select or confirm your choice by saying
Yes” or “No” when prompted.
4. If all commands and names have been
recognised, the contact will be displayed. You
can now scroll to the contact number and press
Call c to dial the number.
Advanced dialling options
The following information covers advanced dialling
options.
Making international calls
International calls require a country code to be
included in the phone number. The country code is
separated from the rest of the number sequence by
a plus sign (+).

To insert an international country code
Press and hold 0 until the plus sign (+) appears.
z Note: You can insert a plus sign directly into a
contacts number or dial it from the keypad.

To insert a three second pause in a dialling sequence
Some international calls require a three second
pause in the dialling sequence for the call to be
processed successfully.
1. Open the Contacts directory.
2. Use the joypad to select the required contact,
press Select , and then select the phone
number to modify.
3. Press Options g and select Edit.
4. Use the joypad to move the cursor to the point in
the phone number where the pause needs to be
inserted.
5. Press Options g and select Insert Pause. The
letter p appears in the number; indicating where
the three second pause will appear in the
dialling sequence.
