MP3 Player
! To ma n a g e p laylists
1. In Playlist mode, open your playlist.
2. As well as opening and creating playlists, you
can:
Playing MP3 files
! To play an MP3 file
• From Playlist mode - Highlight the track, scroll to
the ! icon (play track) and press Select  (or
press Options g and select Play). The MP3
Player will change to Player mode and the track
will start playing.
• From Player mode - If a track or playlist is
loaded, press Select  to play the track.
• From Messaging or Favourites - Highlight the
MP3 file message or link and press Select . The
MP3 Player will open in Player mode and the file
will start playing.

• The following controls are available in Player
mode. The current action is highlighted in the
playback status bar at the bottom of the screen.
Tasks Description
Rename To rename a playlist:
• Press Options g and select Playlist then
Rename.
• Enter the name for your playlist and press
Confirm g. The playlist is saved
automatically.
Delete To delete a playlist:
• Press Options g and select Playlist then
Delete.
Copy To copy a playlist to/from a memory card:
• Press Options g and select Copy then to
MMC or from MMC.
Control Description
Play Press Select  to play the current track.
Pause During playback, press Select  to pause
the current track.
Resume During pause, press Select  to resume
playback.
Stop During playback or pause, press and hold
Select  to stop playback.
Volume Use the up : and down ; joypad keys to
increase or decrease the volume.
Mute/Unmute Press Options g and select Mute On or
Mute Off to turn the sound off / on.
Forward/
Reverse
During playback, press and hold the left [
or right ] joypad key to move backward or
forward in a file.
Next/Previous During playback:
• Press and the left [ joypad key within the
first 5 seconds of a track to go to the start
of the previous track.
• Press and the left [ joypad key after the
first 5 seconds of a track to go back to the
start of the current track.
• Press and the right ] joypad key at any
time to go to the start of the next track.
Settings Press Options g and select Settings to
change the MP3 Player settings. See MP3
Player settings below.
