Relay Contact Configuration
1. Press the button.
2. Use the and buttons to select
“Relay Card” and then press the
button.
3. Choose the desired contact set (Relay1,
Relay2, etc…) to configure and then press
the button.
4. Use the and buttons to assign the
appropriate event (OON RDS1 1 in this
example) and then press the button.
5. Use the and buttons to select either
(High or Low), and then press the
button.
6. Use the and buttons and the
and buttons to select the desired offset
(+/-2000) or leave set to default, and then
press the button.
Override
There are three options for this setting: “Off,
On, and Auto”. If set to “Auto” the relay
will operate as expected (a DPI splice
command will trigger the Active State). If
“Override” is set to “Off”, the relay will
always be in the “non-active” state and vice
versa if “Override” is set to “On”. This
setting can be used for testing the
downstream equipment.
1. Use the and buttons to change
the “Override” to either (Off, On,
or Auto).
2. Press the button to save the
selection.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE “OFFSET” SETTING:
The “offset” value may need to be adjusted to compensate for switch time latencies and
line up the exact desired insertion switch point.
