4.25 Event Log
Description: The MRD 3187B has user selectable event logging that it stores to a list. The
list includes the date and time of each event, a short description of the event, and which
card was affected by the event. To configure the MRD 3187B to log specific events from
a predefined list, use the steps below.
Error List Display
To display the current events or view past events on
the unit use the following steps:
1. Press the button.
2. Use the and buttons to move the cursor
to, “Event Log,” then press the button.
3. Use the and buttons to select
“current, day 1 log, day 2 log,
etc…”
Display
1. Press the button while the cursor is on
“Display” to view the events for the selected
time.
2. Use the and buttons to view the
entire event and the and buttons to
view the next event.
3. The log currently shown in the front panel is
specified by the top line “1/8” meaning
event 1 out of 8.
Clear
1. While the cursor is on “clear,” press the
button to clear that log.
CAUTION: If “clear” is selected, all of the
events that have been logged under
the time selected will be erased from
memory, and cannot be recovered.
2. The log selected will be listed followed by “has
been cleared!”
