• You may use an extension cord, if necessary, but be certain
to follow these guidelines:
– The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance,
indicated on the appliance label.
– The extension must be arranged so that it will not drape
over the countertop or tabletop, where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
– Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse the power cord.
