Lithium-ion batteries comply with all applicable shipping regulations as prescribed by industry
and legal standards which includes compliance with the UN Recommendations on the Transport
of Dangerous Goods Regulations Special Provision A45, and applicable U.S.DOT regulations for
the safe transport of Lithium-ion batteries. Each cell or battery has been tested under provisions
of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part Ⅲ, sub-section 38.3 and are classified as
non-dangerous goods.
For sea transport and land transport, don't handle the containers carelessly. Take care not for water
contamination. Avoid direct sun light. Avoid the temperature above 60℃ during transport. Based
on IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation 50th Edition (English) Effective 1st, Jan, 2009, if you
delivery cells or battery in air, there must be transported in accordance with the requirement of
packing instruction 965. The battery model listed has aggregated equivalent lithium content
below the 8g requirement. And the battery is in compliance with inner package, package weight,
marking and label requirements declared in packing instruction 965. So the product is safe for air
transportation.
