Chapter 2 Installation The EdgeHub will be delivered to you pre-configured. Simply affix the EdgeHub device to a structure and connect the sensor, (FlatMesh 4G Camera, FlexiMeasure via CAN, , IPI via RS485). Mounting The EdgeHub is supplied with a back-plate, fixing bracket which can be fixed to a wall or strapped onto a pole. WARNING: The EdgeHub has a total approximate mass of 1.2kg. Please ensure that the object you are fixing to can support this load.
The EdgeHub bracket wall and pole mounting options are displayed in the following photographs. Figure 2.
Earthing The enclosure must be earthed if installed outdoors and powered from a mains power supply, or if the solar panel is publicly accessible after installation. Connect the earthing point on the rear of the enclosure to a grounded metal braid using an M4x0.7 screw. NOTE When selecting a screw for the earthing point, be aware that the hole on the enclosure is only 6mm deep. Fitting a screw which is too long may damage the device. Figure 2.
Power The EdgeHub FM3H-LTE has an internal Lithium-Ion battery which when fully charged will allow the device to operate for 5 days. For continued operation, you will have been supplied with either a solar panel or mains power supply. The three-pin power input connector can be found at the bottom side of the unit, to the left of the human interface port. Figure 2.
Antennae There are two distinct antennae which must be connected to the correct N-type socket on the device. The antenna/socket pairs are labelled FlatMesh and Cellular. Figure 2.6: Antennae fitted to gateway (front view) and (side view) Check It is very easy to accidentally cross-thread the antenna connection.
Access Port The multi-pin sensor interface port is located on the bottom of the gateway next to the power connector The various sensors connect to the Data Port located on the bottom of the EdgeHub next to the power connector.
Chapter 3 Maintenance The product should not require any maintenance after installation. If the need to clean the product should arise, use only a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use any solvents as this may damage the enclosure. WARNING: Only service personnel authorised by the manufacturer may open the enclosure. No user serviceable parts are located inside.
Appendix A Import / Export Restrictions The products described in this user manual contain and use encryption algorithms for data authentication and security. Some countries require registration of these technologies. It is the importer’s responsibility to comply with all local regulations. Contact Senceive for more information. B.1 FreeRTOS The FreeRTOS.org source code is licensed by the *modified* GNU General Public License (GPL), text provided below. A special exception to the GPL is included to allow you to distribute a combined work that includes FreeRTOS without being obliged to provide the source code for any proprietary components. See the licensing section of http://www.FreeRTOS.org for full details. The exception text is also included at the bottom of this file.
When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not price. Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for this service if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it in new free programs; and that you know you can do these things.
is interactive but does not normally print such an announcement, your work based on the Program is not required to print an announcement.) These requirements apply to the modified work as a whole. If identifiable sections of that work are not derived from the Program and can be reasonably considered independent and separate works in themselves, then this License, and its terms, do not apply to those sections when you distribute them as separate works.
7. If, as a consequence of a court judgment or allegation of patent infringement or for any other reason (not limited to patent issues), conditions are imposed on you (whether by court order, agreement or otherwise) that contradict the conditions of this License, they do not excuse you from the conditions of this License.
How to Apply These Terms to Your New Programs If you develop a new program, and you want it to be of the greatest possible use to the public, the best way to achieve this is to make it free software which everyone can redistribute and change under these terms. To do so, attach the following notices to the program.
Clause 2: FreeRTOS may not be used for any competitive or comparative purpose, including the publication of any form of run time or compile time metric, without the express permission of Real Time Engineers Ltd. (this is the norm within the industry and is intended to ensure information accuracy). B.2 Newlib The newlib subdirectory is a collection of software from several sources. Each file may have its own copyright/license that is embedded in the source file.

A Compilation Process is ”Eligible” if it is done using GCC, alone or with other GPL-compatible software, or if it is done without using any work based on GCC. For example, using non-GPLcompatible Software to optimize any GCC intermediate representations would not qualify as an Eligible Compilation Process. 1. Grant of Additional Permission.
The precise terms and conditions for copying, distribution and modification follow. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 0. Definitions. ”This License” refers to version 3 of the GNU General Public License. ”Copyright” also means copyright-like laws that apply to other kinds of works, such as semiconductor masks. ”The Program” refers to any copyrightable work licensed under this License. Each licensee is addressed as ”you”. ”Licensees” and ”recipients” may be individuals or organizations.
You may make, run and propagate covered works that you do not convey, without conditions so long as your license otherwise remains in force. You may convey covered works to others for the sole purpose of having them make modifications exclusively for you, or provide you with facilities for running those works, provided that you comply with the terms of this License in conveying all material for which you do not control copyright.
b) Convey the object code in, or embodied in, a physical product (including a physical distribution medium), accompanied by a written offer, valid for at least three years and valid for as long as you offer spare parts or customer support for that product model, to give anyone who possesses the object code either (1) a copy of the Corresponding Source for all the software in the product that is covered by this License, on a durable physical medium customarily used for software interchange, for a price no mo
7. Additional Terms. ”Additional permissions” are terms that supplement the terms of this License by making exceptions from one or more of its conditions. Additional permissions that are applicable to the entire Program shall be treated as though they were included in this License, to the extent that they are valid under applicable law.
9. Acceptance Not Required for Having Copies. You are not required to accept this License in order to receive or run a copy of the Program. Ancillary propagation of a covered work occurring solely as a consequence of using peer-to-peer transmission to receive a copy likewise does not require acceptance. However, nothing other than this License grants you permission to propagate or modify any covered work. These actions infringe copyright if you do not accept this License.
A patent license is ”discriminatory” if it does not include within the scope of its coverage, prohibits the exercise of, or is conditioned on the non-exercise of one or more of the rights that are specifically granted under this License.
16. Limitation of Liability.
