Installing the Power over Ethernet injector
Avaya provides a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector for the AP8120 access point that you
can order separately. The PD-9001G-40/SP
is a single port, Gigabit Midspan with surge
protection injector that is 802.3af and 802.3at compliant. When using the PD-9001G-40/SP,
you are not required to use the Ethernet surge arrester provided with the AP8120-O. For
release 1.2, the Avaya PoE injector is certified for use only in North America and the European
Union.
