Selecting the Original Size

Select the size of the original.

The following four settings are available for the original size.



Auto

With Auto selected, the Printer identies the original to be:

- A standard portrait or landscape size; or

- A non-standard size.

Note: In the submission mode, Auto cannot be selected.



Portrait

Select for standard size originals and vertically oriented.



Landscape

Select for standard size originals and horizontally oriented.



Synchro Scan

Select for non-standard size originals. When Syncro Scan is selected, the paper is

cut to the same length as the original, which is called as synchro cut.

Note



When the original size is set to Auto, the Adding Blank Spase (

page 47 ),

and Erasing the Frame (

page 50 ) settings are disabled.



When Selecting the Original Size Standard (

page 38 ) is set to User

Dened, all settings are handled as Synchro Scan, even when Portrait or

Landscape is set to On.
