Chapter 14 Troubleshooting
■Original Jam
If an original jam occur, the ERROR lamp turns on and the following
message appears on the Control Panel.
1 Open the scanner cover.
When the scanner cover is opened, the
following message appears on the screen.
2 Remove the jammed original, and close the scanner cover.
While supporting the scanner cover with your
right hand, release the stopper with your left
hand and lower the scanner cover slowly.
