HINT 
•
  The charging time depends on the ambient temperature and the voltage level of the 
battery pack. Normally, using the battery charger "PWC-A071-A1", it takes about 4 hours 
to complete charging after running down the battery pack. Using the quad battery 
charger "PWC-A074-A1", it takes about 5 hours. 
•
  The battery charger and the AC adapter may get a little hot when in use. This is normal 
and not a malfunction. 
 Error Handling Procedure

LED doesn't light up  The battery charger doesn't connect 
to the power supply. 
Securely connect the AC adapter 
and the AC cable. 
The AC adapter is failed or AC 
cable is broken. 
Replace the AC adapter or AC 
cable with a new one. 
The battery charger is failed.  Replace the battery charger with a 
new one. 
LED shows other than green 
lighting with no battery pack 
installed 
The battery charger is failed.  Replace the battery charger with a 
new one. 
LED shows charging 
temperature error 
The battery pack temperature is out 
of the operating temperature range 
(charging). 
The printer automatically resumes 
charging when the battery pack 
temperature is within the operating 
temperature range (charging).   
Wait for a while in the place where 
the ambient temperature is 0°C to 
40°C (32°F to 104°F). 
LED shows battery 
installation error 
The battery pack is installed 
incorrectly. 
Install the battery pack correctly 
again. 
The terminal is in a contact failure.  Remove the battery pack from the 
battery charger, clean the terminal, 
and install it again. 
The battery pack is failed.  Replace the battery pack with a new 
one. 
LED shows battery error  The battery pack is failed.  Replace the battery pack with a new 
one. 
LED shows hardware error  The battery charger or AC adapter 
is failed. 
Replace the battery charger or AC 
adapter with a new one.
