<Replenishing spittoon absorber liquid>

Open the front cover, and then open the cap cover.

Check the spittoon absorber
liquid level in the spittoon unit
visually.
If the liquid level has become so
low that the boss for liquid quantity
measurement is visible, rell the spittoon
absorber liquid up to the same level as
the top of the boss.
If the spittoon absorber liquid should be
replaced, P.2-118 “Replacement of
the spittoon case”.

Close the cap cover and the front cover.
<Checking the waste ink bottle>
Check whether the waste ink bottle is full. When
it is full, dispose of the waste ink in an appropriate
container to clear out the waste ink bottle.
