The following describes the wiper blade replacement procedure.
Replace the wiper blade when the replacement message appears or scratches are found
in the daily inspection. Prepare the tweezers supplied in the daily maintenance kit before
replacing the wiper blade.

Set the printer to the offline state
and press the
MENU
key to
display PH.MAIN MENU.


Press the key to enter PH.MAIN
MENU. The cap cleaning menu is
displayed.

Select [REPLACE WIPER BLADE]
with the
key and press the
key.

When the confirmation screen
appears, press the

Open the front cover and wipe
cover.

REPLACE WIPER BLADE

Nip the bottom edge of the wiper
blade with tweezers and release the
hook of the plastic projection.

Remove the wiper blade upward.
