mounted securely and shall be prevented from turning by
means other than friction between surfaces.

requirement if all of the following conditions are met:

d) Intended operation of the switch is by mechanical means

cannot be replaced, such as a sealed neon pilot or indicator
light, need not comply with this requirement if rotation cannot
