Warnings (cont.)
CAUTION
Charge an empty or low Battery Module immediately. Leaving a Battery Module empty for long periods of time could result in permanent
damage to the Battery Module.
Low Battery
This warning occurs when the Battery Module level of charge is below 15% or when there is low battery voltage. In the case of low battery voltage,
vehicle performance will be reduced. Drive to a secure location and charge your Battery Module.
Empty Battery
This warning occurs when the Battery Module is completely empty. The SE-3 Patroller may power off at any moment. Charge your Battery
Module immediately.
HighTemperature(Drive/Motor/Battery)
These warnings occur when the components reach high temperatures. Vehicle performance is reduced. As the temperature gets higher, perfor-
mance is reduced further.
Power off the SE-3 Patroller. Let it cool to within the recommended operating range. See "Segway SE-3 Patroller Operating Limits," page 19.
UI Hardware Fault
This is a fault on the User Interface Board. A variety of problems could cause this warning, including loss of communication between the board
and other components. Under most circumstances the SE-3 Patroller will continue to operate as normal.
