Power Management IC (PMIC) real-time clock
battery back-up. Optionally used to provide back-
up power for the Real-Time-Clock (RTC).
Connects to coin cell (lithium or other). PMIC is
supply when charging rechargeable cells. Coin
cell is source when system is disconnected from
power. Charging is
enabled by default in
software. If non-rechargeable battery is to be
used, charging should be disabled.
