Thedigitaloscilloscopeisintendedtobeusedforvisualisingelectricalmagnitudesandsignals.
Themeasuringleadisconnectedtotheoscilloscopeviatwosockets.
Themeasuredsignalscanbestoredanddisplayedasareference.Thecontrolofthedeviceis
performed via VDU-based control menus.
Themaximuminputvariablesindicatedonthedevicemustneverbeexceeded.
A signal generator is also integrated into the instrument.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
riskofshortcircuits,re,electricshock,etc.
Nopartoftheproductmaybemodiedorrebuilt,andthehousingmustnotbeopened.
Measurements are not permitted in damp rooms or outdoors, nor under adverse environmental
conditions.
Unfavourable ambient conditions are:
- Dampness or high air humidity,
- dust and combustible gases, vapours or solvents,
- thunderstormsorsimilarweatherconditionssuchasstrongelectrostaticelds,etc.

We do not assume any liability for personal injuries and material damages caused
by the improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,

• Theunauthorisedconversionand/ormodicationoftheproductisnotpermitted
forsafetyandapprovalreasons(CE).Donotdisassembletheproduct.
• This product is not a toy. Therefore, be especially careful when children are
around.
• First, connect the measurement cable to the oscilloscope; then connect the probe
tothe signalmeasuring circuitto be tested.Afternishing themeasurements,
rstdisconnectthemeasurementleadsfromthecircuitbeforeyoudisconnectthe
cable from the oscilloscope.
• Be especially cautious when dealing with voltages exceeding >30 V AC or >30 V
DC! Even at these voltages, there is a danger of fatal electric shock if you touch
electric conductors.
• Prior to each measurement, check your meter and its measuring leads for
damage(s).Nevertakeanymeasurementsiftheprotectinginsulationisdefective
(torn,missing,etc.).
• Toeliminatetherisksofelectricshock,donotdirectlyorindirectlytouchthecon-
nections/measuring points during measurements.
• Never touch the probes outside of the marked handling area during a measure-
ment.Thereisdangerofalife-threateningelectricshock.
• Donot usethedeviceshortlybeforeorafterathunderstorm(lightning!/high-
powersurges!).Makesurethatyourhands,shoes,clothing,theoor,themeasur-
ing device and/or measuring lines, circuits and circuit components are always dry.
• Donotusetheproductinsideofrooms,orinpoorambientconditions,wheream-
mable gases, vapours or explosive dust may be present or are present.
• Do not operate the device near to:
- strongmagneticorelectromagneticelds
- transmittingaerialsorHFgenerators.
Thesecanaffectthemeasurement.
• Only use measuring cables, or equipment, appropriate for the oscilloscope’s
specicationswhentakingmeasurements.
