4.4 PRE‐OPERATIONCHECKLIST
 Inspecttires.Checktireinflationp ressureandadjust,ifne cessary.
 Inspectwheelhubfasteners.Adjusttorquetopropersetting,ifnecessary.
 Checkdepthsettingofpackerwheelarms.Adjust,ifnecessary.
 Checkdepthsettingoffertilizerknives.Adjustifnecessary.
 Checktractorhydraulicreservoirlevel.
Addhydraulicfluidiflevelislow.
 RefertotractorOperator’sManual.
 Inspectallhydrauliclines,hoses,fittingsandcouplers.
 IMPORTANT!Useacleanclothtowipeanyaccumulateddirtfromtheimplementand
tractorcouplerspriortoconnectingthehydraulicsystem.
 Inspectseedanddryfertilizerdistributionsystem.
 Make sure manual wing locks are unpinned and folded to center of machine prior to
wingingmachinedown(NOTUSEDON7PLEX)
 Makesuremanualwinglocksareunpinnedandpinisplacedinholderpriortowinging
downthe30’45series3plextoolbars.SEEFIGURE10.

NOTE: Check wheel hub fasteners periodically to ensure proper tightness, especially
priortotravelonpublichighways.

