2.5 HYDRAULICSAFETY
Ensure that all hydraulic system components are kept clean and in proper working
condition.
Periodicallyinspectconditionofhydraulichoses,linesandcomponentsandremoveand
replaceanypartsshowingdamageordeterioration.
Useonlyreplacementpartsspecifiedbythemanufacturer.
Makerepairsfollowinginstructionsprovidedbythemanufacturer.
Wearappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipmentwhenunsureifresidualpressuremay
existinhydrauliccomponentsduringtrouble‐shootingand/ormakingrepairs.
Useapieceofcardboardorwoodtocheckforhydraulicleaks.
Ensure all fittings, couplings and other hydraulic connections are intact and properly
tightenedbeforeoperatingimplementhydraulicsystem.
Ensure that all persons operating, adjusting, maintaining and/or repairing the
implementknowproceduresandhowtoseekorsummonmedicalassistanceshouldan
injuryoccur.
2.6 TRANSPORTSAFETY
Ensurethatdrillisattachedtotractorproperly.
Ensuredrawbarhitchpinretainerisinplaceandfunctioningproperly.
Ensuresafetytowchainissecurelyattachedtotractor.
Ensurealllightingandimplementmarkingdevicesareintactandvisible.
Ensureimplementisproperly
markedaccordingtolocalroadregulations.
Heedalllocalroadtrafficregulations.
Donotexceed32km/h(20mi/hr).
Reducetravelspeedonroughroadsandsurfaces.
Donotallowridersontheimplementatanytime.
