4.3 HYDRAULIC HOSE HOOK UP
These red banded hoses
are for your shank lift and
lower. One hose has a ball
valve to close for transport
and opened while seeding.
These green banded hoses are for your wing lift and
lower. When the wings are on the ground, the lever in
the cab is locked in the forward position while
seeding. This pressurizes the hydraulic manifold in
order to use the Seed Hawk Tool Bar successfully.
This single yellow banded hose is the dump line that is needed for the hydraulic manifold.
The balls in each Pioneer hydraulic fitting have been removed. There is then no restriction
for the oil to return back to the tractor reservoir.
This line must be connected even when lowering the wings. Seed Hawk Inc. recommends
that this dump line has its own port into the tractor’s reservoir.
