4.0 OPERATION
4.1 FIELD OPERATION
4.1.1 Operator Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure SAFE operation, adjustment,
maintenance and repair of the Seed Hawk Drill. This responsibility includes the
proper training of any person who will operate, adjust maintain, repair or work in
the vicinity of the Seed Hawk Drill.
This Operator’s Manual provides step-by-step procedures for proper operation,
field adjustment, routine maintenance, and equipment repairs for the Seed Hawk
Drill. The information provided includes good safety practices that should be
adhered to while operating this equipment.
Once properly trained, it also becomes the responsibility of the operator to apply
good safety practices that will not only protect the operator but others who may be
in the vicinity of the Seed Hawk Drill while it is in operation. Nearly all accidents
can be prevented by following and applying good safety practices.
