Rate Check - Rate Check Tips
• Weighing the product going into the tank will ensure greater accuracy
• Use the attached operator worksheets (pg. 40) for keeping important information documented ie: cal
weights, application rates, fan speeds, eld condition notes, etc.
• For low rate products (under 10 lb/ac.) (ie: canola) - do a rate check with two 50 lbs. bags, seed until emp-
ty, then add two more bags and repeat rate check procedure
• Repeating the procedure increases the accuracy of the rate check
• The larger the sample the more accurate the rate check will be.
