8.2 Filter & Pressure Reducing Valve
This hydraulic oil lter and reducing valve are placed in-line with the hydraulic
motors. Both are located at the front of the aircart near the auger/conveyor
diverter valve.
The PRV is mounted directly following the oil lter. This PRV is used to lower
the hydraulic pressure entering the motors to 1500 psi. To adjust the PRV loos-
en the nut at the top of the PRV. Then using an allen key, adjust the screw until
the gauge reads 1500 psi. Tighten the nut at the top of the PRV.
8.2.1 Hydraulic Oil Filter
8.2.2 Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
The lter is equipped with a blockage indicator which displays a red band when
a pressure differential greater than 5 bar (72.5 psi) occurs. Note that low oil
temperatures may give false blockage indication. To reset the blockage indica-
tor press the plastic cover at the top of the indicator. The lter cartridge (Part
Number: 317885) should be replaced after the rst 50 hours of operation, then
yearly or when the blockage indicator displays a the red band too frequently.
