Display
Line 2
The lower display line is designated line 2. It consists of five 7 segment
numeric characters. It is used primarily for displaying numerical values for
the selected function, and alarm conditions. This line also gives information
during Change Settings modes and initial system installation.
Bin Level Three 10 segment bar graphs indicate bin levels of up to 3 bins. The graphs
indicate whether a bin level is in alarm.
Units Area The area between line 1 and line 2 is for indicating the units. During
operation the appropriate text is turned on to indicate the units associated
with the numeric reading on line 2 of the display.
The monitor console has five push buttons on the front plate under a polycarbonate overlay.
The common uses of the buttons are as follows:
OK Primarily used for acknowledging alarms. Also used for exiting from special
modes of operation (such as Change Settings modes) and for resetting area
counts.
UP Primarily used for changing the active display function. Also used to
increase a displayed number in Change Settings modes.
DOWN Primarily used for changing the active display function. Also used to
decrease a displayed number in Change Settings modes.
MODE Used to enter Change Settings mode. Also used for advancing to next
display in Change Settings mode.
ON/OFF Used to turn the unit on and off.
