4.16.2 FUNCTIONKEYS
FUNCTIONKEYDESCRIPTIONS:
Power:Whenthemonitorisoff,pressingthePowerKeywillturnthemonitoron.Whenthemonitoris
on,pressingandholdingthePowerKeyfor5secondswillturnthemonitoroff.
NOTE:Alwaysusethepowerkeytoturnthemonitoroff.Thisputsthemonitorthrough
asaveprocess
anditwillstoreanyaccumulatedinformationorch angedsettingstothenon‐volatilememory.Cutting
powertothemonitorbyshuttingofftheignitionmaycausesomeinformationtobelostorsetting
changestonotbesaved.
Escape:PressingtheEscapebuttonwhilein
anymenuwill exitwithoutmakinganychanges.Manyofthe
functionsforenteringandnavigatingaroundthescreenareduplicatedbythecontrols.Forexample;
movingh ighlightboxescanbedonebypressingtheUp/Down/Right/LeftArrowsorbyusingtheSelector
Knob.Thefunctionofthe“Enter”keyisusually
duplicatedbypressingtheSelectorKnobaswell.Theonly
timethe“Enter”buttonmustbeusedinsteadoftheSelectorKnobiswhenenteringandsavingvalues
fromdropdownkeypadsonthescreen.
Enter:PressingtheEnterKeywillactasa“Se lectButton”or“Enter
Button”,onanyhighlightedmenu
selections.
SelectorKnobandToggle:ThisSelectorKnobisusedfornavigationwithinmenus.TurningtheSelector
Knobclockwiseorcounterclockwisewillchangehighlightedmenuselections.TheToggleisactivatedby
pressingdownontheSelectorKnob.TheToggleactsasa“Select
Button”or“EnterButton”.
NavigationKeys:Thesekeysareusedfornavigationwithinmenus.Bypressingthedesireddirectionkey,
yourhighlightedselectionwillchangeaccordingly.
ActivateClutchKey(ACK):Thiskeyisusedtoengageyourclutchordisengageyourclutch.(Reminder:
ClutchStatusisindicatedinthe
TopSectionoftheDisplay).
MeterRateScreen:Pressingthisbuttonbringsupascreenwhichallowsadjustingmeterapplicationrates
andturningmetersonandoff.
SoftKeys:Thesekeysrepresentsettingsmenus.Theydisplayedoptiononasoftkeymaybedifferent
dependingonthemenu
theoperatorhaschosen.TheUserpushesthesekeytomakethedisplayed
selection
