4.4 HYDRAULICBRAKE(OPTION)
GENERAL
Brakes cannot be installed after delivery.Hydraulic brakes must be connected to the
compressedbrakecouplingsonthetractor.Thebrakesarenonselfadjustingdrumbrakes.
NOTE:Inorder fortheemergencybrake tofunction,the linemustbe hookedsecurelytothe
tractor.
USE
Braking force is regulated by the pressure applied to the tractor's brake pedal.The brake
cylinders and the brake lever stroke have been designed to provide sufficient braking power
withoutlockingthewheels.SEE“5.5HYDRAULICBRAKES(OPTION)”ONPAGE99.
EMERGENCYBRAKE
In order for the emergency brake to function, the wire in the parking brake lever must be
securedtothetractor.Theemergencybrakeengagesifthemachineissettocomeloosefrom
thetractor.
PARKINGBRAKE
Alwaysparktheimplementonastableandlevelsurface.
Activatetheparkingbrakebypullingthelever(A).Releasetheparkingbrakebyslightlymoving
theleverforwardsandthentotheuprightposition.
If the implement has to be parked on or close to a public road, the machine must also be
securedbychocksbeingputunderthetransportwheels.
If the machine is to be parked for an extended period of time, the parking brake should be
disengaged.Instead,themachineshouldbesecured withchocks.
