4.4 HYDRAULICBRAKE(OPTION)
GENERAL
Brakes cannot be installed after delivery.Hydraulic brakes must be connected to the
compressedbrakecouplingsonthetractor.Thebrakesarenonself‐adjustingdrumbrakes.
NOTE:Inorder fortheemergencybrake tofunction,the linemustbe hookedsecurelytothe
tractor.
USE
Braking force is regulated by the pressure applied to the tractor's brake pedal.The brake
cylinders and the brake lever stroke have been designed to provide sufficient braking power
withoutlockingthewheels.SEE“5.5HYDRAULICBRAKES(OPTION)”ONPAGE99.
EMERGENCYBRAKE
In order for the emergency brake to function, the wire in the parking brake lever must be
securedtothetractor.Theemergencybrakeengagesifthemachineissettocomeloosefrom
thetractor.
PARKINGBRAKE
Alwaysparktheimplementonastableandlevelsurface.
Activatetheparkingbrakebypullingthelever(A).Releasetheparkingbrakebyslightlymoving
theleverforwardsandthentotheuprightposition.
If the implement has to be parked on or close to a public road, the machine must also be
securedbychocksbeingputunderthetransportwheels.
If the machine is to be parked for an extended period of time, the parking brake should be
disengaged.Instead,themachineshouldbesecured withchocks.
