2.3 GENERALSAFETYPRACTICES
Read and understand the contents of this Operat or’s Manual prior to operating,
adjusting,maintainingand/orrepairingtheimplement.
Locate, read and understand all safety signs applied to the implement before
performinganytasks.
Review the contents of this Operator’s Manual at least annually, and any time a new
personisassignedtoperformanytaskwiththeimplement.
Ensure that all bystanders, especially small children, are kept at a safe distance while
performinganytaskswiththeimplement.
Donotallowridersonanypartoftheimplement.
Ensureallguardsandshieldsareintactandinplacepriortooperatingtheimplement.
Keep hands,feet,hairandlooseclothingawayfrommovingand/orrotatingparts.
Stop theengine, lowertheimplement,settheparking brake,removetheignitionkey,
andallowtimeformovingpartstostoppriortoadjusting,maintainingorrepairingthe
implement.
Ensure that all implement lighting and marking is intact, clean and operatingproperly
prior to traveling on public roads. Check with local highway authorities to confirm
implementisproperlyequippedforhighwaytravel.
ProvideafullystockedFirst‐Aidkitinahighlyvisibleandeasilyaccessiblelocation.
Keep afullychargedfireextinguisherinahighlyvisibleandeasilyaccessiblelocation.
Ensurethatimplementissecurelyblockedandsupportedpriortoworkingunderneath.
