DHCP is enabled by default and is the recommended protocol to use

for users with little or no network experience. DHCP allows your router

to automatically assign all parameters needed to remotely access your

system.

The Security Setting options will allow you to change the default Device

and Admin passwords (111111) that are used when remotely accessing

your DVR.

NOTE: The default Device is 222222 & Admin password is 111111.

• Device Password: Used to access your system remotely

• Admin Password: Used to conﬁgure your system remotely using your

smart phone.
