Auto Recording – Alarm Recording
The first step to setting up alarm recording is to configure the DVR’s Alarm Output.
a. From Main Menu click the Alarm icon followed by the Alarm Output icon. Alternatively,
click the right mouse button to display the Short-cut Menu and select Alarm Output.
An Alarm Output screen similar to the one below will be displayed.
b. Three alarm output settings are available:
 Configuration – The alarm is on according to the configuration.
 Manual – Click the “ALL” button and the corresponding channel will record when an
alarm is sensed regardless of other settings.
 Stop – Click to stop channel alarming regardless of the channel’s state.
c. Configure the Alarm Input by going to Main Menu, clicking on the Alarm icon followed by
the Alarm Input icon. An Alarm Input setup screen similar to the one below will be
displayed:
