Assembling the Strap and Transmitter
Verify the expiration date has not been reached. Route the strap through the slots in the transmitter.
Attaching the Transmitter to the Resident
Attach the transmitter to the resident’s wrist or ankle comfortably (not too tight – keep two finger tips between the band and
the wrist or ankle). Insert the post of the strap’s snap through the nearest hole in the strap and fold the snap’s receptacle
down onto the post. Press together until it snaps securely. Cut off excess strap.
Testing Transmitter
Test the Transmitter using the Tester to verify the ID code or if this is a non-ID transmitter the tester should read TX OK as
shown. Figure 5 shows the transmitter to tester orientation for a standard TX. Figure 6 shows the transmitter to tester
orientation for a 90 Degree TX
