Description
The Magnetic Switches, Types MKF19X.AK / GKF19X.AK and MKR18X.AK / GKR18X.AK, are
used for contactless switching off resp. on of an electrical load by means of a movable magnet.
The enclosure of the magnetic switch is provided with an integral connection cable intended for
fixed installation.
The Magnetic Switches Types GKF19X.AK and GKR18X.AK are provided with a push button.
The push buttons are not assessed as a part of an Ex - enclosure according section 7 of standard
EN 60079-0.
Ambient temperature range MKF19X.AK / GKF19X.AK: -40 °C to +70 °C;
MKR18XSAK / GKR18XSAK: -25 °C to +60 °C;
MKR18XUAK / GKR18XUAK: -25 °C to +70 °C.

pecific Conditions of Use
The Magnetic Switches shall be installed such, that danger of mechanical impact and exposure to
light is avoided.
The electrical specifications of the Magnetic Switches shall be met to secure the type of protection
Ex mb. If supplementary a non resetting device is used for protection of the switch or the circuit to
which the sensor is connected against overload, this device shall have a breaking capacity that is
in compliance with the prospective short circuit current of the power supply.
