6.4 Configuring the mobile communication
If your logger is equipped with an internal GSM modem, data transfer and alarm
messaging via UMTS / GPRS can be realised.
For this purpose, a UMTS / GPRS-enabled SIM card (data contract) is required which
can be obtained from almost any local mobile network operator.
Usually, all the data required to set up mobile data transfer is provided within the
mobile network contract. Further information can be obtained from the website or
the hotline of the mobile network operator. If necessary, request guidance for
setting up data communication in particular. SebaKMT cannot provide any
specific technical advice in this case.
