8 Online correlation
8.1 Measurement with 2 Power transmitters
The following requirements must be met or preparations must be made:
•
The batteries of the Power transmitters and the Correlator must be charged.
•
All radio antennas have to be properly connected to the Power transmitters and the
Correlator.
•
The microphones/hydrophones have to be properly connected to the Transmitters.
•
The radio of each Power transmitter should be tested. For this, take the
transmitter’s microphone from the storage place. The Radio LED
must now be
lit. If not, put the microphone back to the storage place, switch the transmitter off
and on again and repeat the test.
Deploy the Power transmitters at the required measuring points and start the correlation.
Proceed as follows:
Step Description

Take the Power transmitter "A" (orange) and go to the first measuring point.
Attach the microphone to the pipe (or, alternatively, install the hydrophone).
Switch the Power transmitter on.

Take the Power transmitter "B" (yellow) and go to the first measuring point.
Attach the microphone to the pipe (or, alternatively, install the hydrophone).
Switch the Power transmitter on.

Take the Correlator and choose a position half way between the measuring
points. Switch the Correlator on.

In the Start menu, use the arrow buttons ŻŹ to choose the required Online
measuring mode (COR PT-3 with microphone or COR PT-3 with hydrophone.)

Start correlation
