The DCT* may be equipped with an optional RF Bypass switch.
When the optional RF bypass switch is activated, it routes the cable
signal directly to a cable-ready TV, bypassing the DCT*. This
configuration enables you to view clear (unscrambled) analog
programming on the direct cable signal should the DCT* be powered off.
The RF bypass is not available on all cable systems.
