OPTIONS
Source Select
• Select Auto to allow the HDTV monitor to search for the first active input from video
components or the tuners.
• Select Manual to choose inputs using the INPUT +/- keys on the remote control or
the front panel keys.
The Manual setting is recommended when connecting video components that may
require some setup before the video component will provide a usable output signal.
OSD Timeout
• Select 5 sec, 15 sec, or 60 sec to set the time for the on-screen display menus or
information to remain on the screen after the last key pressed.
Menu Background
• Select Opaque for a solid background or Translucent for a see-through on-screen
menu background.

Language
• Select English, Fran£ais, or Espa£1ol for the on-screen menu language.
Picture Mode
• Select:
• Standard for normal room lighting conditions
• Cinema for dark room lighting conditions
• Vivid for bright room lighting conditions
These are preset behaviors affecting the low-, midrange-, and high-brightness areas of
the picture. Technically related to gamma settings, they accommodate the human eye
in different surroundings with different video inputs. The best way to use these settings
is to choose the one you like best. You may prefer different settings with different pro-
grams.
To quickly change the setting, press picture on the remote control one or more times.

Color Temperature
• Select Warm, Normal, or Cool to adjust the color temperature of the picture.
Factory Reset
• Select to reset the HDTV monitor to the factory settings. This erases all user set-
tings.
