Use With

DVD players and other sources with DVl video output
Personal computer DVl video output connections
Connect the HDTV monitor's VIDEO 7: DVl connector to the DVl connector on the
personal computer using a DVI-I cable.
For convenience, the HDTV monitor will also accept a DVl digital-analog cable, but
the HDTV monitor does not receive analog signals through the DVl connector.
Connect the HDTV monitor's VIDEO 7: AUDIO IN: L and R connectors to the line-
level outputs on the video component or personal computer. Some personal com-
puter users may decide not to use the audio connections.

When connecting a computer, follow "Configure the Computer" on page 26 and "Con-
figure the HDTV" on page 27.
HDMF M Compatibility
Video components with HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface TM) can be con-
nected to the HDTV monitor's VIDEO 7 DVl connector using an HDMI-to-DVl adapter
(not included). HDMI-to-DVl adapters pass only video signals. To play audio from a
video component with HDMI, separate audio connections, as shown in Figure 15, are
required.
RESET
Reset is not intended for routine use. This pushbutton is recessed. If necessary, use a
toothpick to press to reset the HDTV monitor.
Press to restart the HDTV monitor's internal electronics.
Press and hold 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. This erases all user settings,
including favorites lists, resets the content blocking password, and returns the
HDTV monitor to the factory settings.
Factory reset can also be performed from the Options menu. see "Factory Reset"
on page 41.
