Press the MENU key to display the on-screen menu and navigate to Window: Image
Size: Exact Pixels (1:1 ).
Exact Pixels (1:1 ) sends each computer pixel to an HDTV pixel for the sharpest text
and computer graphics.
The HDTV monitor will automatically adjust itself to accommodate minor variations
in computer graphic cards. In some cases, the HDTV monitor may adjust itself
before the computer has completed configuring its graphic card.
All computer resolutions accepted by the HDTV are shown in Table 2.
The 1024 x 768, 1152 x 864 and 1280 x 1024 computer resolutions are taller than the
720-pixel height of the HDTV screen but may be scaled to fit using the Proportional or
Fill Screen settings. See "Image Size-- PC Input and DVI" on page 46 for HDTV dis-
play options.
Using Proportional and Fill Screen scales the computer video to the screen and slightly
reduces the sharpness of text and graphics. See "Image Size-- PC Input and DVI" on
page 46 for examples.
The preferred setting, Exact Pixels (1:1 ) vs. Proportional or Fill Screen, is according to
the viewer's preference.
